ES MOKA (Traditional mocha syrup from Malang)

ICED MOCHA 

 I found this for the first time in the Dempo area, Malang - Indonesia and I loved it straight away. The memory keeps coming when the summer season starts, so I make an effort trying to find the syrup around Auckland.

Ingredients :
  • 1 canned of coconut meat*
  • 1 Avocado
  • 2 tbsp mocha syrup
  • Ice blocks
*It would be better if you can find real coconut with its original water, but it is difficult if you live in a sub-tropical country like New Zealand. So we got it in a canned coconut drink.


Methods  :
  1. Take avocado meat off from its skin and divide it in two.
  2. Set aside to 2 drinking glasses 
  3. Open a canned of coconut meats and put half to each of the glasses.
  4. Fill them in with ice blocks and ice/cold water
  5. Pour with 1 tbsp mocha syrup for each glass
  6. Ready to serve
